Award-winning nature photographer Rick Furmanek, spends much of his time wandering the desert Southwest in search of the perfect shot. He believes each journey into the wilderness is a call to a spiritual pilgrimage where “the beauty of quiet solitude” finds its ultimate fulfillment. Rick’s images have appeared in magazines and on TV. His photograph of two bison sparring in Yellowstone, entitled, Primal, was selected as Outdoor Life Magazine’s 2006 Photo of the Year.
